The event includes a 10K wheelchair race and Family Fun Run as well as the 10K race, a well established race in Aberdeen and for many runners the highlight of their season.
The course for this Scottish Athletics permit event is based around Aberdeen's Beach and Harbour area and has some spectacular views of the North Sea and the iconic Beach Ballroom on the route of the course.
The City of Aberdeen Baker Hughes 10K attracts all types of entries, from the serious runners who are in it to win it, to the corporate group who enter to raise money for charity or simply the person who wants to use the event as a motivation to get fit.
